Gateway to Western Tanzania
Fly from Arusha to Kigoma and settle into your comfortable mid-range hotel overlooking Lake Tanganyika.
In the afternoon, discover historic Ujiji and learn about the famous meeting between David Livingstone and Henry Morton Stanley. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening beside the lake.

Day 2, KIGOMA → GOMBE

Cross the Lake. Enter the Chimpanzee Kingdom.
After breakfast, board a boat across Lake Tanganyika to Gombe Stream National Park. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake and forested shoreline along the way.
After lunch, begin your first chimpanzee trek through Gombe’s lush forest. Follow your guide into the wilderness and experience the excitement of finding chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Return to camp for dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by nature.

Day 3, GOMBE

Chimpanzees, Forest Trails & Kakombe Waterfalls
After breakfast, venture deeper into Gombe for another unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience.
Along the forest trails, look for red colobus, blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, colourful birds, butterflies, and other wildlife.
Continue to Kakombe Waterfalls, where a scenic forest hike rewards you with one of Gombe’s beautiful natural attractions.
Return to camp for lunch, relaxation, and your final evening in the forest.
